Help your guinea pigs and rabbits stay comfortable when temperatures rise with the Ozzy Pets Cooling Liner. Made with cooling fabric, it provides a soft, comfortable surface to rest on and helps draw heat away from the body.

✓ Cooling Fabric – Helps keep pets comfortable during warm weather
✓ Moisture-Wicking – Helps move moisture away from the surface
✓ Soft & Comfortable – Gentle on little feet and bodies
✓ Reusable & Washable – Easy to wash and reuse
✓ Available in various sizes – Designed for use in Ozzy C&C Cages

Important note: This is a temporary cooling liner and is not designed to replace your regular cage bedding. We recommend using it during warmer weather and alongside your usual cage liner as needed. For best results, use in a shaded, well-ventilated or air-conditioned room. The liner helps keep pets comfortable but is not a substitute for keeping their environment cool.

Disclaimer: Due to the nature of the cooling fabric, staining and discolouration from urine can occur during use. By purchasing this product, you acknowledge and accept this characteristic. While washing will remove most staining, some discolouration may remain over time. We do not offer returns or refunds due to staining, discolouration or changes to the appearance of the cooling liner.

  • Cool to the touch: the cooling fabric helps draw heat away from little bodies.
  • Moisture-wicking: it helps keep the resting area feeling fresher.
  • Soft and gentle: comfortable on little feet for lounging and napping.
  • Made for Ozzy C&C Cages: sized to fit your setup, so it's easy to lay in.
  • Two in every order: use one while the other is in the wash.
  • Reusable and machine washable: an easy summer add-on that lasts season after season.

The Ozzy Cooling Liner uses a special cooling fabric that feels cool to the touch and helps draw heat away from your pet's body. It gives guinea pigs and rabbits a comfortable place to stretch out and relax on warm days.

The fabric is also moisture-wicking, so it helps move moisture away from the surface and keeps the resting area feeling fresher.

How to use it: Lay the cooling liner on top of your regular Ozzy Cage Liner during warmer weather. It's a temporary cooling layer, not a replacement for your usual bedding, so swap it back out once the weather cools down.

For best results, use it in a shaded, well-ventilated or air-conditioned room. The liner helps keep pets comfortable but isn't a substitute for keeping their space cool.

Because every order includes 2 liners, you can use one while the other is in the wash.

The Ozzy Cooling Liner is easy to keep clean.

Everyday care

  • Spot clean regularly to remove hay, droppings and debris.
  • Shake out or use a small handheld vacuum between washes.

Washing

  • Machine wash cold.
  • Do not use fabric softener or bleach. They can damage the cooling fabric.
  • Do not tumble dry. Air dry thoroughly before using it again.
  • Because each order includes 2 liners, you can use one while the other is in the wash.

About staining

Urine can stain and discolour the cooling fabric. This is normal for this type of fabric. Washing removes most staining, but some discolouration may remain over time. Spot cleaning soon after it happens and washing regularly will help keep the liner looking its best.

As staining and discolouration are expected with this fabric, we're unable to offer returns or refunds for them.

1. What is the Ozzy Cooling Liner?

The Ozzy Cooling Liner is a reusable, all-in-one cage liner designed to help keep guinea pigs and rabbits more comfortable in warm weather. It combines a cool-touch top layer with an absorbent internal layer and a waterproof backing, so it fits into your Ozzy C&C cage just like our fleece liners.

The cooling top layer feels cooler to the touch than standard fleece, giving your pets a comfortable spot to lie on during hot Aussie summers.

2. How does the cooling liner work?

The top layer is made from cooling fabric, which draws body heat away from your pet when they lie on it. Underneath, an absorbent layer pulls moisture away from the surface and a waterproof backing helps protect the cage base.

The liner doesn't need to be refrigerated, frozen or powered. It's designed to be used every day through the warmer months.

3. Will the cooling liner stop my guinea pig from overheating?

The cooling liner is a great addition to your summer setup, but it can't replace good heat management on its own. Guinea pigs are most comfortable between 18°C and 23°C. They can start to overheat from around 24°C, and the risk is highest above 28°C.

On hot days, keep the cage indoors, out of direct sun and in a well-ventilated room. You can also use frozen water bottles or ceramic tiles, and make sure fresh water is always available. If you notice signs of heat stress, such as rapid shallow breathing, drooling, weakness or lethargy, contact your vet immediately.

4. How long does a cooling liner last before washing?

Like our fleece liners, a cooling liner can typically last 3–7 days between washes. This depends on the number of pets, the cage size and how often you spot clean.

Remove droppings and hay daily. Wash the liner sooner if it becomes damp, heavily soiled or starts to smell. Litter trays or pee pads in high-traffic areas can help extend the time between washes.

5. How do I wash the cooling liner?

Remove your pets and accessories, then shake the liner outdoors or brush off loose hay, fur and droppings. Machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle with mild detergent. Avoid fabric softener, bleach and high heat, as they can reduce the cooling effect and absorbency.

Hang the liner to dry out of direct sunlight. Keeping a second liner on hand means you can always rotate a clean, dry one into the cage.

Keep Your Guinea Pigs Cool This Summer

Keep your piggies cool and comfy all summer long. The Ozzy Cooling Liner is designed to fit perfectly in the bottom of your Ozzy Cages C&C Enclosure, with a breathable, cool-touch top layer that helps your small furries beat the heat.

Underneath, it has the same features you love from our fleece liners: a super absorbent, anti-bacterial and odour resistant inner layer that soaks up pee and traps it away from the surface, and a waterproof backing that keeps your cage base and floors dry.

Machine washable, reusable and built for Aussie summers, so your guinea pigs can stay chilled while you spend less time cleaning.
