Best way to serve: Provide unlimited hay at all times using a hay rack, hay sack or other clean, dry feeding area. Replenish daily and completely replace hay every 3–4 days, or sooner if it becomes soiled or damp.

Other ways to serve hay:

• Use in an Ozzy Cage Kitchenette to create a dedicated food and feeding area.
• Place small piles of hay around your pet’s enclosure to encourage natural foraging and burrowing behaviours. Replace frequently as scattered hay can become soiled more easily.

Quality hay should make up the majority of your guinea pig or rabbit’s daily diet and should be available at all times.

How to Store Hay:
Keep hay in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and damp floors. Store it off the ground in a breathable container - we recommend our Ozzy Cage Storage Boxes. Proper storage helps maintain hay’s freshness, flavour and nutritional quality while reducing the risk of mould and musty odours.
